This is a toy design I made a while back with 20 lb. design foam and wooden dowels. It was inspired by the horned beetle, and has hinged legs and a swiveling head.
This is a project I've recently completed posted from start to finish. The process includes rough sketches, cleaner ideations, studies, and the finished painting in oil. This was done for Period Costume Painting and is intended to be a children friendly version of Rumpelstiltskin from Grimm's Fairy tales.
This was a storyboard spot for a cold sore medication. A character had to be designed that would be vile and irritating, but not visually disgusting (nothing oozing or slimy). The idea was to show how a cold sore obnoxiously follows you everywhere you go and disrupts your daily routine.
This is a storyboard for a first person boxing video game. First, ideations were created, and out of those drawings one character was chosen to essentially get the tar beaten out of them. Naturally, I went with the possessed girl because she's so darn cute.
